Aluminium Machining Parts In combination with the actual processing for aluminum extrusion dies, there are many factors affecting the quality for aluminum extrusion dies, which are embodied in the following aspects: Defect for raw material. Material of aluminum extrusion dies mainly consists is re-melting bar and forging blank at present. Re-melting bars are used for small dies, while forged blanks are used for large diameter dies. The main problems for these two blanks are internal slag inclusion, cracks and air bubbles. If not detected in the early stage, irreparable losses will be caused to the die processing. CNC rough milling is inconsistent with design requirements. In actual production, in order to improve the design efficiency, the design drawings of aluminum extrusion dies often do not consistent to the specifications of mechanical drawing, which results in insufficient understanding for design requirements by CNC programmers and failure to communicate with the designer in time, finally resulting in the discrepancy between CNC rough milling and design requirements. Heat treatment hardness is too high, too low or uneven. Improper use of heat treatment process, irregular operation of operators or defective equipment cannot meet the process technical requirements, which may cause hardness of heat treatment die to fall short of the designed requirements and seriously affect the use of the die. Offset discharge hollow tool and unsmooth feed hole (slots). For large cantilevers or radiator profiles, discharge blank tool plays a key supporting role. In practice, human factors are the key factors to determine whether blank tool is deflected or not. For the profile die with reinforcement, the smoothness and position of the feed holes (slots) are also determined by human factors. The precision for working belt is not high. In the process of post-polishing, the working belt often has the problems of incorrect angle and insufficient flatness. The working belt is thrown into the angle of flow promotion or obstruction, which makes the material of the die in use quicker or slower, misleading the die repairing and designer, and makes the latter die repairing difficult. Through the above simple analysis, I hope it will be helpful to engineers.Aluminium Machining Parts website:http://www.licometal.com/precision-hardware-parts-processing/aluminium-machining-parts/
